It's tulip time in Holland! Since it was a sunny day, we hopped in the car and drove the 30 minutes toward the sea to the tulip fields. Although this is my 5th spring in Holland, I am still caught a bit breathless by the beautiful colors, they are so vibrant. Unfortunately, Max didn't seem to feel the same way. After discovering the tulips didn't give off a scent, he wasn't very interested.

Oh please tell me you told Bas about your experience seeing the tulips for the first time! i'll never forget Splash and the mistaken pathway! I'd love to see them again sometime too. Glad you enjoyed it!
Max is getting so big! Such a big boy! I can't wait to see you guys this summer, and we're missing you this spring!
