Great News and Bad News

The great news: We have a house! We have found a house in Elmhurst and will be closing on it this coming Monday.

The bad news: Unfortunately we will not be able to move in for some time as our shipment was "lost" for a 3 weeks. Not to worry, it has been "found" and is due to arrive sometime the week of Dec 10 (if customs doesn't pull it...if this happens, then possibly 1-2 more weeks on top of that).

We are excited by our house but disappointed we will not be able to move in b/f Bas starts his new job on the 10th.

Still House Hunting

Just thought I would let everyone know that we are STILL house hunting. We hope to have things figured out by the end of this week. We have done a lot of driving around and visited many suburbs, but we keep coming back to Elmhurst as it makes the most sense. I'll try to keep this blog updated as many of you are curious.

Oh Yeah, we still don't have a car yet either...but we did find another one Bas fits in. This now brings our options to 3!
