The great news: We have a house! We have found a house in Elmhurst and will be closing on it this coming Monday.
The bad news: Unfortunately we will not be able to move in for some time as our shipment was "lost" for a 3 weeks. Not to worry, it has been "found" and is due to arrive sometime the week of Dec 10 (if customs doesn't pull it...if this happens, then possibly 1-2 more weeks on top of that).
We are excited by our house but disappointed we will not be able to move in b/f Bas starts his new job on the 10th.
